Focus on Windward Oahu

Nearly 90 volunteers gathered at Ulupo Heiau State Park Jan. 19 in Kailua for Kupu Hawaii's seventh annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, where the nonprofit youth conservation-training group helped restore and maintain lo‘i and native wetland bird habitat, and created an outdoor amphitheater next to Kawainui marsh.
