I was in a cycling accident back in 2010 and I wrote a thank you to all the people who helped me on this day with a description of an angel who rushed me to the hospital in her car.<\/p>\n
At the time, I was hoping that someone would come forward and tell me who this angel was. However, this was not to be.<\/p>\n
A couple of months ago, I got a call from a woman who asked how I was doing. She described the accident and how she was so afraid for me that she had no second thoughts about rushing me to the hospital.<\/p>\n
She was going through some old MidWeek <\/I>papers and saw the article and decided to call after looking up my name in the phone book.<\/p>\n
I would like to finally give her a huge APPLAUSE and publicly thank her for what she did for me on that day.<\/p>\n

Hi Pamela, <\/p>\n
My family and I were aboard a Hawaiian Airlines flight that flew to Las Vegas when my 5-year-old son lost consciousness.<\/p>\n
I quickly went to a flight attendant for help and explained to him my situation. A short while later, there was an announcement in the cabin asking for anyone with medical background to offer their assistance.<\/p>\n
That is when our “angels” appeared, ready and willing to help. If I remember correctly, he was an EMT and she was a nurse.<\/p>\n
They began asking my husband and me questions while checking my son’s vitals, and knew exactly what they needed from the flight attendants.<\/p>\n
They were absolutely great, and I thank God they were there to help my son.<\/p>\n
About 45 minutes into our flight, the decision was made to turn the plane around and head back to Oahu.<\/p>\n
Once we landed, everything happened so fast and I regret not having the chance to properly thank them.<\/p>\n
My family and I would like to express our utmost appreciation to the flight attendants and the two who stayed by our sides until we landed.<\/p>\n
Thank you so very much for stepping forward and helping my little one. We will always be thankful to you all.<\/p>\n
