Overall what did you think?<\/B><\/p>\n
Overall, I thought this romantic comedy was action-packed and had wonderful moments of comedic relief. The love triangle among Tuck (Tom Hardy) and FDR (Chris Pine), two best friends and CIA agents, and Lauren (Reese Witherspoon) keeps you hooked after Tuck and FDR both realize they’re dating the same woman. It is my hope that the audience walks away with one of the key lines from the movie: “I don’t believe in mistakes.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n
It’s the mistakes that make us who we are.”<\/p>\n
Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?<\/B><\/p>\n
The scene in which Lauren (Reese Witherspoon) is singing Montell Jordan’s This Is How We Do It was pretty awesome! Not to mention the fact that during the entire scene, you see shots of both Tuck and FDR covertly bugging her home with audio and visual transmitters.<\/p>\n
Also, all of the scenes that Lauren’s best friend Trish (Chelsea Handler) was in definitely added the perfect comedic relief during this tense movie.<\/p>\n
On a scale of one to four stars, how would you rate this film?<\/B><\/p>\n
I’m a sucker for romantic comedies, so based on that, I’d rate this film as \u2605\u26051\/2.<\/p>\n
What did you think of the cinematography?<\/B><\/p>\n
The action scenes were well-executed and certainly enhanced the overall movie.<\/p>\n
Was the message\/theme clear?<\/B><\/p>\n
The message\/theme was not clear. You really had to look for it.<\/p>\n
The message\/theme I did get was that everyone is capable of love.<\/p>\n
Did it remind you of any other work in film?<\/B><\/p>\n
Not off the top of my head …<\/p>\n
To whom would you recommend this movie?<\/B><\/p>\n
Couples, teenagers, and ladies having a girls’ night out. Risk-takers would also enjoy this film.<\/p>\n
Did any of the actors stand out?<\/B><\/p>\n
Trish was amazing! Her comments and dating advice to Lauren were classic! Her wit and ability to be clever saved many scenes in this movie from being stale and boring. Though she was only a supporting character, her role was crucial in this film. One of her best lines in the movie was: “Don’t pick the best man … pick the right man for you.”<\/p>\n
Did you identify with any of the characters?<\/B><\/p>\n
I could identify (to a degree) with Trish, as she played an encouraging, yet overprotective friend. She’s my kind of woman!<\/p>\n
Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film?<\/B><\/p>\n
No. In fact, it was barely noticeable\/impactful.<\/p>\n
Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD?<\/B><\/p>\n
Though I loved this movie in the theater, it wouldn’t be a movie that I could watch again and again, and for that reason, I wouldn’t buy it as a DVD.<\/p>\n
