I saw the movie at Consolidated Theatres in Koko Marina Shopping Center with my dad Erik Grubbs, and my sister Heiden Grubbs.<\/p>\n
Overall what did you think?<\/B><\/p>\n
It was a pretty good movie that had an even better message.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n
No matter what people tell you or what happens to you, keep pushing, believing in yourself, and doing it the “right” way, and you can overcome any obstacle.<\/p>\n
Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?<\/B><\/p>\n
My favorite scene was when the old tree gave himself up to be used as a boat to help Dorothy and her friends.<\/p>\n
All the other trees wouldn’t dare, but he took one for the team for the good of others.<\/p>\n
I thought that was really cute.<\/p>\n
On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?<\/B><\/p>\n
I was say maybe \u2605\u2605\u2605.<\/p>\n
It had a lot of competition being that the last animated musical I saw was Frozen<\/I>, and what can really top that?<\/p>\n
What did you think of the cinematography?<\/B><\/p>\n
It was animated, but the computer graphics were great. I didn’t see the 3D version, but everything almost looked real!<\/p>\n
Was the message\/theme clear?<\/B><\/p>\n
Yes, definitely. I think there were a couple of great messages in the movie, the two I said above, and it had another message of good always beats evil.<\/p>\n
Did it remind you of any other works of film?<\/B><\/p>\n
This movie reminded me of Frozen <\/I>because both are animated, both are musicals, and both have awesome lessons.<\/p>\n
Who would you recommend this movie to?<\/B><\/p>\n
I would probably recommend this to anyone who saw the original.<\/p>\n
A couple of times they talked about things that happened in the past and I had to ask my dad what they were talking about.<\/p>\n
But overall it wasn’t too bad, not having seen the original.<\/p>\n
Just make sure you bring someone that has.<\/p>\n
Did any of the actors stand out?<\/B><\/p>\n
There were a lot of great actors doing the voices, so it would be way to hard to choose one.<\/p>\n
I do think it was really interesting how they act just by using their voices and can control or change it to match the character animations.<\/p>\n
I would love to get a chance at playing an animated role like this.<\/p>\n
Did you identify with any of the characters?<\/B><\/p>\n
The owl because I love candy and there is no way would I be able to walk through a candy town and NOT eat candy!<\/p>\n
Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film?<\/B><\/p>\n
Yes, being a musical, the soundtrack definitely contributed to the film.<\/p>\n
And for me personally, I really enjoy animated musicals.<\/p>\n
Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD?<\/B><\/p>\n
Yes, it would be a good “buy it on DVD” type of movie.<\/p>\n
I could see my sisters letting it play and singing along to it.<\/p>\n
What’s your favorite movie snack?<\/B><\/p>\n
Ohhh, popcorn mixed with a bag of kakimochi and topped with extra butter.<\/p>\n
It’s a must!<\/p>\n
