Where and with whom did you see the movie? <\/strong><\/p>\n I saw the movie at Ward Consolidated Theatres with my good friend and walking companion Lt. Col. Liza Shimmin.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n Overall, what did you think? <\/strong><\/p>\n I thought the film was very provocative in trying to understand how a woman, Margaret Keane, as portrayed by Amy Adams, could give up her identity for the man she loves.<\/p>\n Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?<\/strong><\/p>\n The courtroom scene was the most dramatic and had the audience cheering!<\/p>\n On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2605\u2605\u2605 1\/2!<\/p>\n What did you think of the cinematography? <\/strong><\/p>\n I thought the film captured the San Francisco street scenes beautifully, as well as the outdoor shots of Hawaii that were extremely enticing!<\/p>\n Was the message\/theme clear?<\/strong> To me, the message was how the times had changed, where women were more dependent upon men to define themselves. This is so different from the way it is today!<\/p>\n Did it remind you of any other works of film? <\/strong><\/p>\n It reminded me of the story of Ike and Tina Turner.<\/p>\n Who would you recommend this movie to? <\/strong><\/p>\n Baby Boomers will enjoy this film, as they will relate to much of the ideology of the times.<\/p>\n Did any of the actors stand out? <\/strong><\/p>\n Christoph Waltz, who played Walter Keane, did a phenomenal job portraying Margaret’s conniving husband.<\/p>\n Did you identify with any of the characters? <\/strong><\/p>\n I could identify with Margaret’s best friend, who cared for her friend and could see what Margaret herself did not understand. I think this is the way it is for most people.<\/p>\n Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film? <\/strong><\/p>\n The music added to the nostalgic feeling of the period.<\/p>\n Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD? <\/strong><\/p>\n Most definitely!<\/p>\n What’s your favorite movie snack? <\/strong><\/p>\n The buttered popcorn was the BEST!<\/p>\n We also ate hot dogs and had cold drinks.<\/p>\n On a different note, what’s new with you?<\/strong><\/p>\n I am currently selling custom countertops (quartz and granite).<\/p>\n My joy comes from helping people bring beauty into their homes and to know we have added something of value to their lives. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Patty Sherman Director of sales, Aloha State Sales Where and with whom did you see the movie?
