<\/b>STATE OF HAWAII
\nUPDATE TO THE WATER RESOURCE PROTECTION PLAN<\/p>\n

<\/u><\/font><\/p>\n

The State Commission on Water Resource Management (CWRM) will hold public hearings to receive testimony on proposed modifications to the Hawaii Water Plan, as required under Chapter 174C, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The proposed modifications are to the Water Resource Protection Plan, which is one of five component plans that constitute the Hawaii Water Plan. <\/p>\n

A public review draft of the Water Resource Protection Plan is available online at the CWRM website: http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/cwrm/planning/hiwaterplan/wrpp/. The public review draft may also be reviewed at the CWRM office at the Kalanimoku Building, Room 227, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. <\/p>\n

All public hearings will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the following dates, at the locations given below:<\/p>\n

All interested persons are urged to attend the hearing and submit comments, orally or in writing. The CWRM will continue to accept written testimony until March 29, 2019. Testimony should be mailed to the Commission on Water Resource Management, State Department of Land and Natural Resources, PO Box 621, Honolulu, Hawaii 96809, or emailed to <\/font>dlnr.cwrm@hawaii.gov<\/u><\/font>, or faxed to 808-587-0219.<\/p>\n

Disabled individuals planning to attend the public hearing are asked to contact the CWRM (at the above address or phone 808-587-0214) <\/font>at least three days in advance of the public hearing<\/b><\/font> to indicate if they have special needs that require accommodation.<\/p>\n
