<\/b><\/u><\/font><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Chapter 11-160, Subchapter 2, Hawaii Administrative Rules, notice is hereby given that the Department of Health (DOH) will hold a public hearing to consider the petition that propose the following medical condition to be added to the list of debilitating medical conditions that qualify for the medical use of cannabis:
\n1. Opioid Use Disorder and Withdrawal<\/p>\n

\nDate: Wednesday, August 14, 2019
\nTime: 1:30 – 2:30
\nPlace: Oahu – Kalanimoku Building, 1151 Punchbowl Street (live)
\n <\/font>µ<\/font> <\/b><\/u><\/font>Video Conference Center, Room B10 in the basement
\n Hawaii – Hilo State Office Building, 75 Aupuni Street (video)
\n <\/font>µ <\/font>Video Conference Center in the basement
\n Kauai – Lihue State Office Building, 3060 Eiwa Street (video)
\n <\/font>µ <\/font>Video Conference Center in the basement
\n Maui – Wailuku State Office Building, 54 South High Street (video)
\n <\/font>µ <\/font>Video Conference Center, Third Floor
\n Molokai – Department of Health, 65 Makaena Place, Room 107(video)

<\/font>PUBLIC TESTIMONY
\n<\/b><\/font> All interested persons shall be afforded the opportunity to submit testimony, orally or in writing, on the proposed medical conditions at the time of the public hearing. Persons who are not able to attend the public hearing may submit written testimony to DOH: by mail at 4348 Waialae Avenue, #648, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96816; or by email at <\/font>medicalcannabis@doh.hawaii.gov<\/u><\/font>. All testimony must be received no later than August 21, 4:30 p.m.
\n Any person requiring a special accommodation (e.g., assistance of a sign language interpreter) at the public hearing shall file a request with DOH by email at <\/font>medicalcannabis@doh.hawaii.gov<\/u><\/font> or by calling (808) 733-2164, Tuesdays or Thursdays between 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm at least ten business days before the public hearing.<\/p>\n
