\nNOTICE OF EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR JUDICIAL POSITION<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/u><\/font><\/p>\n

The Judicial Selection Commission is <\/font>extending the deadline<\/b><\/font> for accepting applications for a new judicial position in the office of <\/font>District Family Judge, Fifth Circuit (island of Kauai), State of Hawai’i<\/b><\/font>. The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A district family judge shall have been licensed for a period of not less than five years preceding nomination.
\n<\/font>Applicants<\/u><\/font>:<\/b><\/font> The Commission invites anyone who meets the constitutional requirements and is interested in the position to apply directly to the Commission. Applicants are <\/font>not required<\/b><\/font> to nominate themselves.
\n<\/font>TO APPLY<\/u><\/font>:<\/b><\/font> Please visit the Commission’s website and fill out form JS-P-084, <\/font>Application for Judicial Office Form<\/u><\/font>. The application must be <\/font>postmarked or delivered <\/b><\/font>to the address below <\/font>on or before<\/b><\/font> the extended application deadline of <\/font>Thursday, January 16, 2020<\/b><\/font>.<\/font><\/p>\n
