\nTHE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR KAUA’I WAR MEMORIAL
\nCONVENTION HALL (KWMCH)
\nCOUNTY OF KAUA’I<\/p>\n

<\/u><\/font><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Section 91-3, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Department of Parks and Recreation of the County of Kaua’i will hold a public hearing on January 10, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., or soon thereafter, at the Lihu’e Civic Center, Mo’ikeha Building, Meeting Room 2A/2B, 4444 Rice Street, Lihu’e, Kaua’i, Hawai’i on the proposed amendments to the Rules and Regulations for Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall (KWMCH) County of Kaua’i.<\/p>\n

The Department of Parks and Recreation proposes to amend its existing Rules and Regulations for KWMCH by: 1) updating the legal limit of occupancy of the Concert Theater; 2) amending rates for Type 5 users to allow State and County agencies to utilize the KWMCH at no charge; 3) minor non-substantive changes in formatting and language; and 4) authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation or designee to waive fees.<\/p>\n

All interested persons who wish to present their testimony may do so at the public hearing. Written testimony prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Written testimony may be submitted to the Department of Parks and Recreation by mail, facsimile, or via e-mail to <\/font>dagaran@kauai.gov<\/u><\/font>. Copies of the proposed amendments are available at the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Lihu’e Civic Center, Mo’ikeha Building, 4444 Rice Street, Suite 105, Lihu’e, Kaua’i, Hawai’i, during normal business hours, or on the Department of Parks and Recreation’s website at <\/font>www.kauai.gov/parks<\/u><\/font>. <\/p>\n

A copy of the proposed amendments will be mailed to any interested person who calls the Department of Parks and Recreation at 241-4460 or mails a request to the Department of Parks and Recreation at 4444 Rice Street, Suite 105, Lihu’e, HI 96766, giving his or her name and address.<\/p>\n
