NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n

Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawaii, will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to Hawaii Administrative Rule Title 13, Subtitle 11, Chapter 241, Numbering of Vessels, to align regulations with the restrictions and requirements of Chapter 200A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to add fees for vessel titling services, and to increase fees for vessel registration services.<\/p>\n

Due to health and safety concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held virtually by Zoom on <\/font>Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.<\/b><\/font> All interested parties are invited to participate and present testimony on the proposed amendments, either verbally or in writing. All individuals interested in providing verbal testimony must use one of the following Zoom methods to testify:<\/p>\n

<\/font>Persons wishing to provide verbal testimony must be connected to the Zoom meeting no later than 30 minutes after the public hearing has begun. Public hearings will conclude at the stated end time or when the last verbal testifier has finished, whichever comes first. Mailed testimony may be sent to DOBOR District Offices as specified below and may be sent at any time up to ten calendar days after the close of the public hearing. Emailed testimony may be sent to <\/font>dlnr.harreview@hawaii.gov<\/u><\/font> any time up to ten calendar days after the close of the public hearing.<\/p>\n

The proposed rule amendments may be viewed online at the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation website (<\/font>http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dobor/draft-rules<\/u><\/font>) or in person from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays, as follows:<\/p>\n
