\nPublic hearing notice published in the
\nGarden Island Newspaper on June 9, 2021
\n1. Integrated Solid Waste
\nManagement Plan (ISWMP)
\nPublic Review Hearing.
\nOnline registration will be required to
\nparticipate in the public hearing. Registration
\nlink can be found at www.kauai.
\ngov/ISWMP or scan the QR code below.
\nThe purpose of the public hearing is to
\nreceive public comments on the County’s
\ndraft Integrated Solid Waste Management
\nPlan Update (Plan) prior to the final submittal
\nto the State of Hawai’i Department of Health,
\nas required by Chapter 342G-22(b) of the
\nHawai’i Revised Statutes. The Plan describes
\ncurrent and proposed solid waste programs
\nand will serve as a blueprint for County solid
\nwaste management for the next 10 years.
\nAll interested persons are invited to review the
\nPlan available at www.kauai.gov/ISWMP and
\nto comment orally or in writing at the public
\nhearing. Written comments may also be
\nsubmitted by email to solidwaste@kauai.gov
\nat any time before or after the Public Hearing
\nuntil close of business Monday, July 19, 2021.
