PUBLIC NOTICE<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font>Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii (A Hawaii Non-Profit Corporation)<\/p>\n

<\/font>INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) <\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font>Bidders may choose to provide responses for one or both opportunities as listed below. Bidders must provide separate bids for each if responding for both opportunities.<\/p>\n

I. PHASE I – PLUMBING CONNECTION: Trench line to BGCH Club, install pipes for sewer and water connection and install lift station. Work must be completed while Kapa’a High School parking lot repaving is underway in December 2021.<\/p>\n

II. PHASE II – BATHROOM INSTALLATION: Build, install accessible restrooms, architectural designs for renovation/permits, connect sewer and water lines to Kapa’a High School, install water meter if needed. <\/p>\n

Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii is seeking a minimum of three bids for each opportunity submitted under this IFB.<\/p>\n

<\/font>(REVISED) IFB DUE DATE: <\/b><\/font> The preferred method of response is by EMAIL to Amanda Panyarat at <\/font>apan@bgch.com<\/u><\/font> with the bid in pdf format as an attachment addressing the requirements of this IFB no later than 4:00PM Hawaii Standard Time, November 12, 2021. <\/p>\n

If email is not an option, one original and three (3) copies of the bid addressing the requirements of this IFB must be received by 4:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time, November 12, 2021 at the main office of the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, 1000 Bishop Street, Suite 505, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. <\/p>\n

Bids received by email or delivered to the main office after the stated time will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. (NO FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED) <\/p>\n

<\/font>(REVISED) ESTIMATED AWARD DATE<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font>Award of bid is estimated to be no later than November 26, 2021. All bidders will be notified by email of the results of the award.<\/p>\n

<\/font>ESTIMATED PROJECT COMPLETION DATE<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font>Selected Contractor must be able to complete the project including final sign off by Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii authorized personnel as follows:<\/p>\n

I. PHASE I – PLUMBING CONNECTION: no later than December 30, 2021.<\/p>\n

II. PHASE II – BATHROOM INSTALLATION: no later than March 31, 2022.<\/p>\n

The Date of Commencement shall be stated in a written Notice to Proceed issued by Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii. <\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES<\/p>\n

Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii is requesting bids from qualified, Licensed General Contractors to project manage and furnish any and all professional services necessary for the facility improvements and repairs for the Kapa’a clubhouse as detailed in the IFB invitation se<\/p>\n

The above is a brief description of the project. A full description of the services to be included under this IFB are on file with the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii. For a detailed project description and IFB specifications, please contact Tina Albao at (808) 482-1065.<\/p>\n

Contractors must also provide a Certificate of Additional Insured, naming the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii and the State of Hawaii as additional Insured.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor’s license and valid license
\nclassifications for all specialty contractor classifications required.<\/p>\n

PROJECT FUNDING<\/p>\n

This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Grant in Aid, as administered by the State of Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Office of Community Services. The successful awardee shall be responsible for the compliance with all current County, State, and Federal laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations. Contractors and subcontractors are obligated to comply with provision of payment of not less than Federal or State prevailing Wages, whichever is higher, for all laborers and mechanics and with other provisions set forth in the bid documents.<\/p>\n
