\nPROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO HAWAII ADMINISTRATIVE RULES (HAR)

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

The Department of Health, Clean Water Branch (CWB) is scheduling a public comment period from the date of this notice until June 23, 2023, to solicit input from the public and other stakeholders about the proposed amendments to HAR Chapter 11-55, and readoption of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System general permits contained in Appendices C, J, and L. <\/font>Written comments must be received no later than 4:30 PM on June 23, 2023.<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font> <\/font>The CWB is holding a virtual public hearing at 10:00 AM (Hawaii Standard Time) on June 23, 2023.<\/b><\/font> Oral comments can be submitted at the virtual public hearing. Although not required, the CWB strongly encourages all commenters at the virtual public hearing to also submit their oral comments in writing.<\/p>\n

The proposed amendments, fact sheets, guidelines for submitting written comments, and instructions for registering and joining the virtual public hearing are available online at the CWB website. Please visit
