\nHAWAII DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
\nDISCUSSION ON STATE HIGHWAY AND COUNTY ROAD CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

Notice is hereby given that the HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (HDOT) will be holding its first round of <\/font>virtual<\/b><\/font> public informational meetings to <\/font>discuss and solicit comments on the DRAFT STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION <\/font>IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (STIP) for FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2025 – 2028 (+2). We encourage participation in these meetings, as comments received will help to guide the finalization of the STIP.
\n The STIP is a four-year programming implementation document that identifies STATE and COUNTY transportation projects, statewide, to be funded, in part, with Federal Highway and Transit funds.
\n HDOT will be holding two rounds of virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams. The first round of meetings will share the STIP development process, discuss the fiscally <\/font>unconstrained FFY 2025-2028 (+2) STIP, and solicit input. Comments and <\/font>questions regarding the content of the first round of meetings will be accepted until <\/font>Friday, June 28, 2024.
\n<\/b><\/font> Once the STIP is prioritized and fiscally constrained, a second round of meetings will be held to share the proposed fiscally constrained FFY 2025-2028 (+2) STIP, <\/font>that will be submitted to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal <\/font>Transit Administration (FTA) for approval.
\n<\/font> <\/font>The virtual public informational meeting for Kauai is scheduled <\/font>for Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 6:30 PM. The link to attend the meeting will be posted at the top of the STIP website<\/b><\/font> <\/font>(https://highways.hidot.hawaii.gov/stories/s/STIP-Home/63ng-czz7/)<\/u><\/font> prior to the meeting.
\n<\/font> Please visit the 2025-2028 (+2) STIP website

An online version of the survey can also be accessed from the STIP website. Surveys can be completed online or submitted by using the contact information below by <\/font>Friday, June 28, 2024.
