NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n

<\/font><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Section 658D(b)(1)(C) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-186), notice is hereby given that the Department of Human Services (DHS) will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the provisions of child care services under the State Plan for the Child Care and Development Fund for Federal Fiscal years 2025-2027. <\/p>\n

<\/font>The public hearing will be held on:<\/p>\n

<\/font> Friday, May 31, 2024, 9:30 a.m. <\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font>This will be a virtual event using Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n

<\/font>There are three (3) ways to participate in the public hearing: Teams online, by telephone, or by submitting written testimony. All interested persons are invited to attend the virtual hearing and present relevant information for the proposed State Plan either orally or in writing for the department to consider. <\/p>\n

<\/font>Online/Telephone:<\/u><\/font> Persons may present live video/oral testimony via Teams online or telephone during the public hearing. To participate, you will need either a computer with internet access, video camera, and microphone, or a telephone. <\/font>To sign up, please email your request at least 48 hours in advance to: BESSD.CCPO@dhs.hawaii.gov to request the weblink to attend the virtual hearing via video conference call through Microsoft Teams. <\/b><\/font>Please include your email, full name, and phone number. A confirmation will be sent to you with instructions and the meeting link and call-in number.<\/u><\/font> <\/p>\n

<\/font>Written Testimony:<\/u><\/font> Persons may submit written testimony via email or postal delivery. Written testimony must be received by 4:30 p.m. on May 31, 2024, at: <\/p>\n
