\nNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation (DOT) Highways Division, will hold a public hearing relating to proposed Hawaii Administrative Rules, Chapter 19-133.2, entitled "Periodic Inspection of Vehicles." The proposed rules are intended to increase the cost for safety inspections which will be used to compensate the vendors’ increased cost for services. <\/font> <\/p>\n

<\/font> The public hearing will be held via the Internet using Microsoft Teams on December 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM. The call-in phone number is +1 808-829-4853, <\/font>345056642#, Conference ID: 345056642#. The Microsoft Teams meeting link is available at web site: <\/font>https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/home/doing-business/hawaii-administrative-rules/<\/u><\/font>. A copy of the proposed rules can be <\/font>viewed or downloaded free at this site. A paper copy may be obtained by mailing a request and a money order for $4.75 to the DOT address shown below. Checks <\/font>should be made out to Hawaii Department of Transportation. A copy of the proposed rules may be reviewed in person at the following address:
