NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n <\/b><\/font><\/p>\n Pursuant to Chapter 91 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA), Department of Human Services, hereby provides notice that it will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to Chapter 17-2034, Hawaii Admininstrative Rules (HAR), entitled “State-Aided Family Public Housing Projects.”<\/p>\n <\/font>Background<\/u><\/font>: The purpose of the proposed amendments are to include the HPHA’s Ke Kumu Ekahi housing project, located at 68-3340 Ke Kumu Place, Waikaloa Village, Hawaii 96738, into the State-Aided Family Public Housing Program. The project, originally developed in 1993, is comprised of forty-eight (48) two-bedroom dwelling units. All families currently residing at the project will be exempt from all State public housing income and asset requirements related to admission and continued occuapncy.<\/p>\n <\/font>Public Review<\/u><\/font>: Copies of the draft amended Chapter 17-2034, HAR, are available for public viewing at the HPHA’s School Street Campus and its site management offices on weekdays between 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n <\/font> HPHA Administrative Offices, 1002 North School Street, Honolulu <\/font>Digital copies are also available on the HPHA’s website at: <\/font>Public Hearing<\/u><\/font>: The public may participate in the public hearing remotely via Zoom using the following link: <\/font>zoom.us/j/89458605112<\/u><\/font>. When prompted, enter the <\/font>Password: 3s4EX6.<\/b><\/font> The HPHA requests that meeting participants display their first and last names.<\/p>\n Alternatively, the public may participate via telephone by calling <\/font>1-346-248-7799. <\/b><\/font>When prompted, callers should enter the <\/font>Meeting ID: 894 5860 5112 <\/b><\/font>and the <\/font>Password: 447691.<\/p>\n <\/b><\/font>The public hearing will take place at:<\/font><\/p>\n \n5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025<\/p>\n <\/b><\/font><\/p>\n Physical Meeting Location<\/u><\/font>: The public may also attend the public hearing in person at 1002 North School Street, Building A Conference Room, Honolulu, HI 96817. The physical meeting location will be connected via Zoom to the remote meeting.<\/p>\n All interested persons are invited to provide oral or written comments on the draft amended rules. All comments received will be reviewed by the HPHA, and subsequent amendments may be considered, if appropriate. Oral comments may be presented during the public hearing. Persons who cannot attend the hearing and prefer not to provide written comments may call (808) 436-7183 to submit their comments as a voicemail message. Written comments may be presented to the presiding officer at the public hearing, or mailed to the HPHA, Attn: Parking and Towing Rules, at 1002 North School Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
