\nNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 91, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii State Department of Transportation (“HDOT”) will hold a public hearing to hear all persons interested in the proposed amendment of Hawaii Administrative Rules Chapter 19-37, Fuel Handling Procedures at Public Airports.
\nThe purpose of the amendment is to remove the requirement that driver operators have a commercial driver’s license when operating aircraft refueling vehicles on Airport Operational Areas.<\/p>\n

<\/font>SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC HEARING
\n<\/b><\/font>A virtual and in person public hearing will be held on:<\/font><\/p>\n

\nWednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM.<\/p>\n

<\/font><\/p>\n

Interested persons may attend the public hearing in person at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport Conference Center, 400 Rodgers Boulevard, Suite 700, Honolulu, HI, 96819-1880.<\/p>\n

<\/font>PUBLIC TESTIMONY
\n<\/b><\/font>All interested persons are invited to present data, views, or arguments on the proposed amendments orally at the time of the public hearing, either in person, virtually, or by submitting comments in writing through electronic submittal by emailing karen.h.honda@hawaii.gov or hard copy comments personally delivered or postmarked and mailed to:<\/font><\/p>\n

Requests made as early as possible have a greater likelihood of being fulfilled. <\/p>\n

<\/font>AVAILABILITY OF COPIES OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS AND OTHER RELATED INFORMATION
\n<\/b><\/font>The proposed amendments may be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the Department’s website at https://hidot.hawaii.gov/airports/library/admin-rules/. The proposed amendments may also be reviewed in person during regular business hours at Hawaii State Department of Transportation, Airports Office, 400 Rodgers Boulevard, Suite 700, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819-1880. A copy of the proposed amendments may be requested by mailing a request and money order for $4.75 to the address above. Checks should be made out to Hawaii Department of Transportation. <\/p>\n
