NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

Pursuant to 24 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 905.300(b)(3), the Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA), Department of Human Services, hereby provides notice that it will hold a public hearing on the Proposed CFP 5-Year Action Plan for Fiscal Years 2024-2028.<\/p>\n

<\/font>Background<\/u><\/font>: The CFP provides financial assistance in the form of grants to public housing agencies (PHA) to carry out capital and management activities including those listed in Section 9(d)(1) of the United States Housing Act of 1937.<\/p>\n

A CFP 5-Year Action Plan describes a PHA’s plans and budgets for Capital Fund activities in the following five year period. These activities address findings identified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through its Physical Needs Assessment and Energy Audit, Public Housing Assessment System.<\/p>\n

To be authorized to spend the CFP Grant received for Fiscal Year 2024, the HPHA must electronically submit the CFP 5-Year Action Plan through HUD’s Energy and Performance Information Center for review and subsequent approval by the HUD Honolulu Field Office.<\/p>\n

\n<\/font>Public Review<\/u><\/font>: The Draft CFP 5-Year Action Plan for Fiscal Years 2024-2028 is available for public viewing at the HPHA’s School Street Campus and its site management offices on weekdays between 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\n<\/font>All interested persons are invited to provide oral or written comments on Draft CFP 5-Year Action Plan for Fiscal Years 2024-2028. All comments received will be considered and incorporated appropriately into the amended plan.<\/p>\n

Oral comments may be presented during the public hearing. Persons who cannot attend the hearing and prefer not to provide written comments may call (808)

Written comments may be presented to the presiding officer at the public hearing, or mailed to the HPHA, Attention: CFP 5-Year Action Plan, at 1002 North School Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817. Written comments may also be faxed to (808)
