\nEXTENDED DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR
\nANTICIPATED JUDICIAL VACANCY<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

The Judicial Selection Commission is extending the deadline for applications for the anticipated judicial vacancy in the office of <\/font>Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the Fifth Circuit (island of Kauai).<\/b><\/font> The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A circuit judge shall have been licensed for a period of not less than ten years preceding nomination.
\n<\/font>Applicants:<\/b><\/font> The Commission invites anyone <\/font>from all islands<\/b><\/font> who meets the constitutional <\/font>requirements and is interested in the position to apply directly to the Commission. Applicants are <\/font>not required<\/b><\/font> to nominate themselves.
\n<\/font>TO APPLY:<\/b><\/font> Please visit the Commission’s website <\/font>and fill out form JS-P-084, <\/font>Application for Judicial<\/font> Office Form.<\/b><\/font> The application must be <\/font>postmarked<\/b><\/font> <\/font>to the address below <\/font>on or before the extended application deadline of June 24, 2025.<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n
