NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<\/p>\n <\/b><\/font><\/p>\n Pursuant to 24 Code of Federal Regulations §905.300(b)(3), the Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA), Department of Human Services, hereby provides notice that it will hold a public hearing on <\/font>(1) <\/b><\/font>the proposed Capital Fund Program (CFP) <\/font>Background<\/u><\/font>: The CFP provides financial assistance in the form of grants to public housing agencies (PHA) to carry out capital and management activities including those listed in Section 9(d)(1) of the United States Housing Act of 1937. The CFP <\/font>Public Review<\/u><\/font>: The drafts of the <\/font>(1)<\/b><\/font> CFP 5-Year Action Plan for Fiscal Years 2025 to 2029, and <\/font>(2)<\/b><\/font> CFP 5-Year Action Plan for Fiscal Years 2026 to 2030 are available for public viewing at the HPHA’ administrative and management offices listed below on weekdays between 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n <\/font> HPHA Administrative Offices, 1002 North School Street, Honolulu <\/font>Digital copies of the draft CFP 5-Year Action Plans are available on the HPHA’s website at: <\/font>https://hpha.hawaii.gov/about-the-hpha/plans-reports/<\/p>\n <\/font>Public Hearing<\/u><\/font>: The public may participate in the public hearing remotely via Zoom using the following link: <\/font>zoom.us/j/88102423339<\/u><\/font>. All comments received will be reviewed by the HPHA, and subsequent amendments may be considered, if appropriate. Oral comments may be presented during the public hearing. \n5-Year Action Plan describes the capital improvements necessary to ensure the long-term physical and social viability of a PHA’s public housing developments, including the capital improvements to be undertaken within a 5-year period, the estimated costs, status of environmental reviews, and any other information required for participation in the CFP. The HPHA must submit the CFP 5-Year Action Plans to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Honolulu Field Office prior to spending CFP grant funds received for fiscal years 2025 and 2026.<\/p>\n
