\nMOLOKAI PLANNING COMMISSION<\/p>\n

The Molokai Planning Commission for the County of Maui hereby gives notice that it will conduct a hearing on July 25, 2018 commencing at 11:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as is practicable in the Department of Accounting and General Services(DAGS) Conference Room, State Building, 45 Makaena Street Phase I, Kaunakakai, Molokai, on the following:<\/p>\n

<\/font>SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREA USE PERMIT<\/p>\n

<\/u><\/font> KEITH S. KOGACHI, STATE OF HAWAII, DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND GENERAL SERVICES requesting a Special Management Area Use Permit for the Molokai Public Library Improvements Project for the construction of a new single story building at the rear of the existing Molokai Public Library and related improvements at 15 Ala Malama Avenue, TMK: (2) 5-3-005:012 (por.), Kaunakakai, Island of Molokai. \nThe subject public hearings will be conducted in accordance with the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Maui County Code, and the Rules of the Molokai Planning Commission. Information pertaining to the subject applications are on file at the Maui County Department of Planning, 2200 Main Street, Suite 315, Wailuku, Maui; the Office of the County Administrator, Mitchell Pauole Center, Kaunakakai, Molokai; and the Molokai Public Library, Kaunakakai, Molokai.
\nAll testimony regarding the subject applications may be filed prior to the date of the hearing by providing 15 copies of said written testimony to the Department of Planning or may be presented at the time of the hearing.<\/p>\n

Petitions to intervene shall be in conformity with Section 12-301-25 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Molokai Planning Commission and shall be filed with the Commission and served upon the applicant no less than ten (10) days before the first public hearing date. Filing of all documents to the Commission is c/o the Maui County Department of Planning, 2200 Main Street, Suite 315, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 and P.O. Box 526, Kaunakakai, Hawaii 96748. The deadline to file a timely Petition to Intervene if the first public hearing date is July 25, 2018 is July 11, 2018. <\/p>\n

Those interested persons requesting accommodation due to disabilities, please call the Department of Planning at 270-7735 or 1-800-272-0117 (Molokai) or 1-800-272-0125 (Lanai) or notify the Maui County Department of Planning in writing at 2200 Main Street, Suite 315, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 at least six (6) days before the scheduled meeting.<\/font><\/p>\n
